Project Overview
A series of facade rehabilitation and streetscape improvement projects were prepared for multiple streets, commercial corridors and public spaces across Istanbul's Historic Peninsula, enhancing architectural quality, strengthening the visual identity of historic streets and improving the public realm.
The work included building inventories, facade assessments and design proposals for numerous urban corridors. Interventions addressed facade restoration, materials and colour strategies, signage integration, storefront improvements, lighting systems, street furniture and public-space enhancements.
Rather than focusing on a single location, the programme established a consistent design approach across different streets and neighbourhoods, reducing visual clutter and reinforcing the distinctive historic character of the peninsula.
