Project Overview
Commissioned by TOKİ, the project involved the preparation of an integrated planning framework for a 55-hectare low-density residential development area in Arnavutköy, Istanbul. The study included both 1/5,000 Master Development Plan and 1/1,000 Implementation Development Plan proposals, establishing the spatial and regulatory basis for future development.
The planning process integrated masterplanning, parcelisation strategies and implementation-oriented management frameworks. Alternative parcel configurations were developed to support different residential typologies and land-use scenarios while maintaining a balanced relationship between built-up areas, open spaces and landscape assets.
The project focused on creating a sustainable low-density living environment supported by a clear development strategy, phased implementation roadmap and long-term governance structure.
