Project Overview
The project involved the preparation of a comprehensive master plan for a 650-hectare greenfield development area in Niamey, Niger. Envisioned as a strategic industrial growth corridor, the plan established a long-term spatial framework supporting industrial development, economic growth and sustainable infrastructure investment.
The master plan combined industrial zones with renewable-energy production areas, including solar photovoltaic and wind-energy facilities. This integrated development model was designed to strengthen industrial productivity and energy resilience, complemented by a network of commercial, social and public-service facilities.
Beyond land-use planning, the project developed phased growth scenarios and expansion strategies, defining land-use strategies, infrastructure frameworks, growth projections and implementation principles for one of the region's largest planned industrial development areas.
